Is it just me?

Is it just me, or do the weekends seem to go by quicker than the weekdays? All week I look forward to either having my boyfriend come down for the weekend, or making my way home to stay for a couple of days. It seems like it takes forever for Thursday,(when I go home) or Friday(when my boyfriend to comes down here) to get here. Monday through Thursdays seem to drag on and on as if they were the turtle and as if the weekends were the rabbit, in a race. When I left to go home on Thursday, I was so excited just to be home in my own bed and to be able to be with my best friends and my family. Before I knew it, it was Monday again, and I did not want to come back. I believe that the college should give us at least two days off of school (not including the weekends) once every three or four weeks. Yeah true, we have the middle of December off all the way up until January 23rd and that is a lot of time. However, when you are in the semester, people tend to get so stressed and overwhelmed with all of the work being piled on by each subject, that it would be a good thing to let us go home for a couple days to get our stuff together and clear our minds. By being able to do this I think that students would do a lot better in school, and be a lot more focused. Because going home or just relaxing for Friday night, and Saturday night, is just not enough time for us. The weekends go by to fast, and before you know it you are right back sitting in the classrooms.
